The affected batch carries the reference L10/2025SHN, with a best before date of October 16, 2027. The pasta is packaged in 500 gram plastic bags, kept at room temperature, and imported from Morocco.
The product was initially found on sale in Andalusia, Catalonia, the Valencian Community, Murcia and the Basque Country. AESAN has not ruled out that the batch may have been redistributed to other Spanish regions beyond these five.
The alert followed a notification from health authorities in the Valencian Community through the Coordinated System for Rapid Exchange of Information, aimed at confirming the withdrawal of the affected batch from sale. Only this specific batch is involved, and the rest of the TRIA product range is not affected.
AESAN states that consuming this product poses no risk to the general population. Only people allergic or sensitive to mustard are advised, as a precaution, to avoid eating it if they have it at home, since the undeclared presence of this allergen could prevent them from identifying the danger before consumption.
